For those that don't already know, I'm still in Texas. What started as a short trip has turned into much more. This is not unusual for me. I admire people that have a travel agenda and are able to stay on schedule. This is not the case with me. As a matter of fact, you can be sure something will happen if I plan an agenda and hand it to someone in case they need to get up with me. Happens every time. Therefore, I work with generalities. That way I have some wiggle room.
On this trip I got a late start leaving Mississippi because of illness. I did manage to get to the reunion as I stated in my previous post. Then I'm on the way back to the camper to get Scotty and head back home. That was my intention.
Well, that didn't work out. I had a trip to the ER which resulted in a referral to a Specialist at the Center of Digestive Disease. Between getting that appointment, waiting for approval from my heart doctor, and his instructions, I was finally able to get my endoscopy and colonoscopy scheduled for November 8. You might know I have to be hospitalized instead of doing as an outpatient like a normal person. Apparently, I'm considered "high risk".
It would be nice if I was close enough to visit friends that I have had to miss seeing on previous trips, but for now, I need to stay close.
I'm thankful to have the camper here and be with Bobby while I wait. I don't dare say when I will be home because I'm hoping it will be soon. Then again, we are talking about me. LOL Who knows when I'll be home?
